Larry: What were you so sad about?
Alice: Life.
Larry: What's that, then?
Alice: .....
Larry: So what do you reckon, in general?
Alice: You want to talk about art?
Larry: I know it's vulgar to discuss The Work at an opening of The Work...but someone's got to do it. I'm serious. What do you think?
Alice: It's a lie. It's a bunch of sad strangers photographed beautifully... and all the glittering assholes who appreciate art...say it's beautiful beacuse that's what they want to see. But the people in the photos are sad...and alone. But the pictures make the world seem beautiful...so the exhibition's reassuring, which makes it a lie. And everyone loves a big, fat lie.
拉里：喜欢吗？
爱丽丝：不。
拉里： 你那么悲伤为了什么？
爱丽丝：生活。
拉里：那又是什么？
爱丽丝：。。。
拉里：那么你怎么看待这些作品，宽泛的说？
爱丽丝：你想谈艺术吗？
拉里：我知道在作品展出的时候谈论它是很庸俗的。。。但总有人要来做。我是认真的。你怎么看？
爱丽丝：这都是谎言。这是一群悲伤的陌生人，作者捕捉到他们美丽的瞬间。而所有那些欣赏艺术的明星混蛋们，也说这很美，却是因为这是他们想看到的。但照片里的人却很伤心，而且孤独。但这些照片让世界看起来更美丽，所以展览再次证明了，这些都是谎言。而人人都爱这个巨大空无的谎言。
